Philip J. Currie, PhD, AOE, virtually wrote the book on dinosaurs and has spent a lifetime bringing them alive for Albertans and, without exaggeration, to all peoples around the world. He will address the topic “The Importance of Dinosaurs to Alberta” on Thursday, March 19 at The Ranchmen’s Club.
Dr. Currie helped create the Royal Tyrrell Museum and has been a major factor in creating Alberta’s preeminent global reputation as a centre of research and education on all things “dinosaur”. This fall, Alberta’s next big dinosaur project will be officially opened just west of Grande Prairie. The name of this $34.5M structure — the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.
Enjoy a wonderful lunch while gaining insights and information from the, dare we say it, dinosaur’s mouth? It will be time well spent, in support of the Canadian Club’s mission to celebrate Canadians and Canadian institutions.
